Gary Hovland

For over 25 years Gary Hovland’s traditional pen & ink and watercolor illustrations have appeared in the nation’s most acclaimed magazines and newspapers, including The New York Times, The New Yorker, Esquire, W magazine, Vanity Fair, Time, Newsweek, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal. He is a graduate of Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, where he later returned as an instructor for an undergraduate course in “Humorous Illustration”. He currently lives in Scottsdale, AZ.
